Why you should attend the 2023 AADR Fall Conference … and consider sponsorship and exhibitor space

By Karin Stragand

AADR’s 2023 Fall Conference is now one week away. We cannot wait to see you and your teammates in San Diego Oct. 23-25.

If you haven’t registered, you can do so here.

Here is what LendingUSA Executive Vice President Rueda says about why he and his colleagues attend: “Year after year, the AADR Fall Conference remains a pivotal event in LendingUSA’s calendar. It provides invaluable insights and networking opportunities, ensuring we stay at the forefront of the debt relief industry.”

This conference is our first as the American Association for Debt Resolution. We are hoping to break attendance records in order to show the strength and vibrancy of the debt resolution sector and to establish our commitment to our refined mission and our new 50-state public affairs strategy.

With American families struggling due to historic inflation, an uncertain economy, and rising interest rates, it is more important than ever that our member companies get together to innovate, network, and share best practices.

Of course, the robust agenda we have planned for attendees would not be possible without our generous sponsors and exhibitors.

Get more engaged: Join our exhibit hall or become a sponsor

  • Increase brand visibility;

As a company committed to pioneering advancements in our field, we’ve found the AADR conference to be a great platform for collaboration, networking, and showcasing our innovative solutions. We agree and hope you will consider joining these companies in supporting the entire debt resolution industry and the customers who are depending on it.

Five reasons to attend the 2023 Fall Conference

Of course, we hope you will attend even if your company does not sponsor the event. Why should you join?

Here are just five reasons.

#5. Get an Election 2024 Preview

Steve Boms, AADR head of government affairs, will sit down with Amy Walter, who has built a reputation as an accurate, objective, and insightful political analyst, to discuss the 2024 election cycle and how it could impact our industry. Amy is known as one of the best political journalists covering Washington and is the publisher and editor-in-chief of the Cook Political Report.

#4. Build Relationships at Small Group Networking Dinners

Back by popular demand! We’ll make dinner reservations at restaurants in Downtown Coronado. If you have not participated in these dinners at one of our past conferences, we encourage you to join. It is a great way to “break bread” with newcomers and industry veterans in a small group environment that is conducive for engagement.

#3. Get The Latest Industry Intelligence

One of the most important reasons for attending is to get the latest updates affecting the debt resolution industry from panelists, legislative experts, and professional speakers. We’ll be discussing artificial intelligence, outsourcing, and even behavioral science!

#2. Hear From the CFPB

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is one of the primary federal agencies charged with defending consumers’ interests. CFPB Chief of Staff for Market Office Bryce McNitt will address the conference at our General Session.

#1. Foster Financial Literacy

At a time when the average American has less than $300 in savings, our industry must do our part to enhance Americans’ financial literacy. On Oct. 23, we will lend a hand with the Council for Economic Education (CEE) at a local school “Family Night” event. If you can’t make it, please donate to CEE on the site so we can bring this type of programming to more schools!
